Are gadgets "safe" yet?

Sunday, January 27, 2013 1:48 PMBack in July 2012, we were informed that Windows Gadgets were not "safe":http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/advisory/2719662Is this still the case?Have there been any updates to Windows 7 since July to remove the vulnerability and allow us to resume using Gadgets?

Hi,
According the advisory, the only solution that blocks the attack vector is to entirely disable the Windows Sidebar and Gadgets functionality.
