    Hello

    System been playing up last couple of days. Firefox crashes etc with no obvious reason. Started loking around and came across this service.

    Service Name: ZXOTMPA
    Display Name: ZXOTMPA
    Description:
    Path to EXE: C:\Users\Martyn\AppData\Local\Temp\ZXOTMPA.exe
    Startup: Manual
    Status: Stopped
    Logging on as the local system account and interacting with the desktop.
    Type (from registry) 110 Hex (272 Dec)

    May not be the cause but gessing that this should not be there. Google search revealed nothing!

    Any hints or tips greatly appreciated.

    Run Autoruns from Sysinternals. If you find this here, disable it, kill the process/service and the you can delete the exe safely.

    (Looks like a trace after rootki revealer.)

    Hope you use updated AV regularly.
