Windows7 Home premium
Issue:
When touching the screen with a large finger the touch input is not recognised.
Description
The system is working fine with single touch input. Fast, precise and sensitive as long as the finger tip is used.
If the user get large finger the contact area will be wider (more or less twice a standard finger), and the touch will not be recognised.
Question.
Is there any option/setting/registry in Windows7 that would allow to work with a "larger than standard" touch contact area?

Hi,
which computer with touchscreen you have? Many computers with Touchscreen can recognize only one Finger. Contact you manufacter - it can be problem with drivers from manufacter.

I developed one application that is using a single finger tap as input.
Since I'm interested only in one finger single tap (no multitouch or gestures or double click) I wonder if writing few lines using TouchAPI to "filter" the touch input is a must or it is possible (or more suitable) to use OS settings.
My application is running on different hardware and software platforms (XP, w7, 3m touch display and Acer Iconia double screen) More hardware and W8 are expected.
