can't connect usb device (mx3000 universal remote control) to xp mode virutal machine
- i have installed a 64 bit Windows 7 Professional on a new Dell Optiplex, and have installed XP Mode and Active Synch 4.2. I connect my remote by usb. Using the xp mode VM, and active synch opened, active synch does not recogize or synch with the remote. Do you know what the problem could be? I seem to have the virtualization driver installed, according to device manager.

Hi,
Firstly, please check if you can find the device under the USB menu of the XP Mode Virtual machine. If it is not listed, I suspect this device is not supported.

- no go. the device is definitely supported under xp. is there any other reason it would not be supported under virtual xp mode?
