I successfully join the XP Mode to my existing domain, but when I logon using domain user account. The following error occurs:

"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively."

And does it also can apply the logon/startup script ?

    Thank you very much!!

you need to add the domain user to the administrators group on the VM. Log in as an administrator or the default user and add the domain user to the administrators group.

Palash is correct, please add the domain user to the administrators group. To access Windows XP Mode, it requires membership in the Administrators group or Remote Desktop Users group.

Note: you can add the user to the Remote Desktop Users group to allow the user to log so that you can test with a user that isd not part of the administrators group.

This is a much better solution than simply adding the user to the Administrators group. In my organization users are not allowed to login as administrators for everyday use. By placing the user account in the Remote Desktop Users group the user is allowed to login without the dangers associated with them being logged in as administrators. I would highly recommend this as the preferred solution. Thanks Boyd.
