    I was able to get into my XP Virtual Machine running in Windows 7 just fine until I transferred the data and settings from my old XP machine using the Windows 7 USB transfer cable.  Now it wants a password for XPMUser.  I have no idea what it wants.  Nothing I put in works.  HELP!

    Have you tried logging in using an account and password from the old XP?

    The old XP did not require a login, so no, I have not; nor can I.  Also, now my Administrator password is disabled on the Windows 7 virtual XP machine.  I guess I tried too many times.  :-(  Now, I really don't know what to do.

    XPMUser's password is the same password you set in the xp mode setup wizard.
    If transfering settings into the vm has changed the computer name of the xp mode vm, probably that's the reason why the autologon of XPMUser has failed and requires you to enter password, in that case, enter creds as new_xpmode_name\XPMUser, and the password. If you had any other local user account in the vm, disbale integration features and login using the local user account to get into the vm.
