AnswerCannot run a newly created Virtual Machine in Windows Virtual PC?

    Hi All,

    I can create a new Virtual Machine in Windows Virtual PC. It shows as WinXPPro.vmcx (Powered Down). When I right click on it and select Open, I can see the mouse pointer turn into a green circle for a few seconds and then nothing happens. I have Windows 7 Ultimate version 6.1 Build 7600, with all the updates installed from Microsoft.

    Also, I have download and installed the lates available Windwows Virtual PC and XP mode. (11/7/2009). I can run the XP mode, but only from the Start Menu and when I select Run as Administrator.

    Any ideas?

    Hi All,

    I reinstalled windows 7 Ultimate and reinstalled Windows XP mode. It now works. Not sure why this probelm occured?
