I have a program that requires bluetooth and xp. Had an usb dongle and lost it. Our laptop has integrated bluetooth and works on Windows 7. Is there a way to make this device available on xp mode??? Much thanks to anyone who knows!

Unfortunately no.  Virtual Machines do not have direct access to the
hardware, only whatever virtualization solution you use provides.  I
don't think any of them pass through bluetooth, but I may be mistaken.

You would have to use a USB to bluetooth dongle...

VMWware Workstation may work for this. On my Dell notebook, I can assign the Dell DW375 bluetooth module to a VM, it does disconnect it from the host OS though.

You could try the trial version of VMWare workstation or possibly VMWare Player.

VMWare Workstation 8, VMWare Player 4, and Fusion 4 now support bluetooth.  See

Cool, I didn't know that, even though I run that version of VMWare
    Workstation occasionally.
