Is there a virtual PC works with windows 7 RC
- As few of the posts suggested the Windows6.1-KB958559-x64.msu is only works for RTM version, my question will be is there a older version to support RC to allow me to download and install on mine?
I had been using RC for a while and had the virtual PC and winxp mode working fine, due to upgrade of my hard disk am now cannot install the winxp mode without the correct version of VPC. I had also installed virtualbox and VM wkstn before am trying the VPC. I had managed installed the virtualpc2007-64 but the old winxp mode VHD is not recognised.

The RC version of Virtual PC has been removed from the server and the original download link was expired. If possible you might ask your friends who downloaded the Virtual PC RC at the earlier time to copy the file to you or directly clean-install the Windows 7 RTM versionASAP. - No. Now that the products have been released you won't be able to download the release candidate.
why no just install the RTM version of Windows 7? - Microsoft doesn't keep beta and RC versions of downloads available once a product goes RTM. It doesn't make sense financially to incur the expense of keeping old versions available. Besides, they are timebombed. You have to upgrade eventually, better to get it done and benefit from the new, better, fixed bits now.
