Locked Metro Apps and ZTE modems

    I recently installed Windows 8CP but I noticed that once I installed my ZTE internet modem the metro apps stopped working until I refresh the PC and not install the modem then they work properly its only limited to ZTE modems Huawei modems work well.What is the solution to this problem since I mostly use a ZTE manufactured modem?

      Try run the software in compatibility mode.

      Contact ZTE support and report this issue to them. It is device compatibility issue and manufacturer should resolve it.

      I guess, you could use Windows settings to connect to ZTE and configure it without using any software.
