I'm in W8 and I click restart so that I can reboot into W7. It exits W8 and I get
Operations are in progress. Please wait.
The machine will turn itself off automatically after the operations are complete.
So I wait - and wait - and wait, still it does not complete. What is it doing. Is it important? I want to know. So I kill it.
I boot W7 and am then faced with Chkdsk going through every disc. As far as I could see nothing was found.
If it had told me, or given me an option ........

Chkdsk function and your hard disk should not has issues because it runs properly after you reboot.
