Locked IE 10 very sloggish after joining SBS 2011 Domain

    Hi,

    further to the problems with the start menu after joining SBS 2011 domain I am experiencing a very sluggish IE 10 performance.

    it can take up to 18 seconds for a new page to load (if the page is in the cache it is very fast).

    so I tested it by switching back to the local account and IE performance is as normal !!!!

    I switched back to the domain account, IE 10 performance as before, so I installed Chrome AND

    NO PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS!!!

    Again I switched back to the local account and both IE 10 & Chrome performed at the same speed, no perceptible difference...

    So my question is:

    What are the problems with joining Win 8 to a domain, eg SBS 2011??????

      Do you have this problem in IE10 metro or IE10 desktop or both?

      If you have testing enviroment, try test join domain in Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 8 and see what will be the result.

        IE 10 Metro does NOT work, only IE10 desktop ...… as per my other report the tiles DO NOT work ..

        Will do testing as you suggested ASAP and will let you know ...

        The funny thing is that the local account is working very fine …

          I did a clean install and joined the domain the manual
          way (NOT using connect) and now all tiles are there and nearly all are
          functioning ..... AND

          IE 10 is working very fast ... so it seems the problem is
          with the connect code in SBS 2011 ....

          I will report on the not fully functioning tiles over the
          weekend ..
