Windows 8 WiFi Problems
-
Saturday, December 15, 2012 9:03 PMI have a Toshiba Satellite A665-S6086. It originally ran on Windows 7...but then I upgraded it to Windows 8, even used the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant. It's working ALMOST great...except for the fact that my wireless connection seems a tad unstable. Randomly it may flicker, go to "Limited", suddenly disconnect from the internet and reconnect, or disconnect and I have to do a troubleshoot and repair to get it back. I found a page on Toshiba's website of Windows 8 Drivers for my laptop, but I'm not sure which of these, if any, will help. Can someone help me figure out what I need to do to solve my problem? I've been asking for help on other sites, but the advice I get is so vague.

You are not alone. I have found several complains in forums. Here is "driver page":
I prefer exact procedure that is based on clean installation followed by installation chipset, audio, video, network, etc drivers.
Also give a try to vendor's support/forum.

Well windows 8 is only 50$ and windows 7 is 300$
In one you have good wifi, in the other one you have constant disconnections + metro :(
