Freezes when entering Hibernate.

Locked Freezes when entering Hibernate.

    ASUS Sabertooth 990FX - Intel 520 SSD, freezes when going into hibernate state.

    It will awake normally before entering time (30min).

    Also after re-installing W8CP.

    Are there someting I can do about it ?

      I have to force stopping it. When starting up again a Message about some Roxio-program needing an update, but there are no sutch program on the computer. Nothing to be done about it ?

        The Hibernation problem should be caused by your device drivers or BIOS which is not compatible with Windows 8. Upgrade BIOS, as well as motherboard drivers and network adapter drivers. If the issue is not resolved, you may just disable Hibernation.

        Regarding the Roxio program update issue, refer to the following article to check if there is any registry entries that belong to Roxio program.

          I have searced the register (regedit) and there is no such program, so it puzzels me.

          BIOS are 901 - there are a newer one and I wil try to flash it, thou as far as I can recall, there are no benefits in this matter ?

          I will remember to Mark - that is done when matter is closed ?

            Sorry for this report - New BIOS (1102) did not help. It still hangs in entering hibernate status.

            Drivers from ASUS do nor match W8CP.

            I do not se an "unmark as answer" ?
