New versions of administrative software available
Description
The digital signature will prematurely expire on several versions of the Windows Intune Client Software and the Windows Intune Exchange Connector software. This issue is fixed in their latest versions, which can be downloaded from Client Software download pane and Mobile Device Management Setup pane respectively in the Administration workspace. We advise that you download and use the latest versions for both enrolling managed computers and installing Exchange Connector.

Am I right that I have to reinstall the Intune Client manually on all clients?

Hi all,
No, you do not need to re-install the client on all machines. This is simply a notification that you'll want to replace your current client software with a new version going forward for all installations.
Thanks,

Will the older clients upgrade them selfs if an older client is used as part of a Deployment image or does the image need to be rebuilt?- Edited by JFeldman2 Thursday, October 11, 2012 4:04 PM

If you have older clients embedded into images you may need to replace them.
Take a look at our release notes here: http://onlinehelp.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsintune.latest/hh850736.aspx
They outline which versions of the client software are affected (and how to check the version) by this update. If you have those versions available on the network to install, embedded into your images or pushing out via policy you will need to replace them.
Thanks,
