In the Windows Intune Administration console, I went to the Company Portal node, and then entered all my particulars answers and saved them.  At the bottom of this page is a hyperlink titled:

    Windows Intune company portal:  https://portal.manage.microsoft.com

When I click on it, I get directed to an error page that says:

    Quote:

    Home

                This account is not authorized

Your user account is not authorized to use Windows Intune IW Portal.
Contact your account administrator to request access.

                    Return to the Home Page

    :Unquote

Since I am the account administrator I'm afraid I cannot find how to add access to myself.

Does anyone know how I can do so?

    Hi Dave,

This should not be the case.  Can you try logging out of everything and open the company portal website directly?

    https://portal.manage.microsoft.com/

If that still isn't working please open a support case.

    Thanks,

    Thanks Jon, that did it.

I rebooted, and then I got right in - from the link I supplied in my original question above.

However, in order to bring up this forum to reply back to you, I must sign in to a particular Live-ID,  and then clicking the same link brings me back to the same access errors.

My problem is I have way too many live-id's and accounts.  Each one needed for different functions.  For example, I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer, and I need a live ID to download courseware and VM's for courses, however, I also run a Microsoft Partner that has Learning Solutions competency, so I need a separate Live-ID to ORDER, that is purchase,  courseware.  I also have a v-dash for my contract work I do for MSFT.  And then I've been trying to consolidate all my accounts and Live-IDs into one for Office 365 as part of our partner Cloud Accelerate program....

    What a mess!

So thanks, I'm marking yours as the answer, but I think it will always be this way due to my account mess.

    Hi Dave,

I too have many ID's I must use and it can become painful sometimes.  A workaround you can try in Internet Explorer, open the "File Menu" and choose "New Session".  That will create a new window that isn't signed into any accounts/services.

    Thanks,
