      Has Code

    I started the trial of In Tune to see if I can enroll my WP8 device. I created a test user and allowed Mobile Device Management in Administrator portal.

    When my device starts to enroll it goes OK at first, but then fails in second RequestSecurityToken request where BinarySecurityToken is sent to InTune:
      <wst:RequestSecurityToken>
         <wsse:BinarySecurityToken>....

    I get back from server:

    <ErrorType>UnknownError</ErrorType><Message>WindowsEnrollmentServiceInternalError</Message>
    I haven't created any Symantec certificates and I don't want to use any company apps at first either. Before commiting further I just want to see if device can be enrolled to InTune.

    Hi,

    Did you add your user into the Windows Intune user group (https://account.manage.microsoft.com)?  That is required.

    Thanks,

    Yes, my user is in Windows Intune group. And identification of the user works fine as I can see data been exchanged between phone and server in Fiddler. Error comes only after 3rd or 4th step.

    After browsing this forum, I think this error might be related to the fact that I don't have Company app signed and uploaded. I hoped to avoid paying 300$ to Symantec just to test how things work.

    Hi,

    I believe it is required (I'll confirm tomorrow).  We are however working on a solution for trial customers to test Windows Phone 8 without having to obtain a Dev Publisher ID and Certificate.   I have no timeline available for this.

    Thanks,
