Answered Intune Administrator Re-authentication

    Hi,

    I am Intune Administrator for my company and want to know if there is a way to adjust the setting regading administrator re-authentication in the Intune portal.

    It asks me to do it every 5 minutes or so. I understand security is a consideration, but really this period is a bit too short for me.

    I would appreciate any help and suggestions!

    Hi all,

    The timeout is 20 minutes.  This is a requirement for all online services.

    If it's timing out faster, this may be due to a browser being used at multiple locations or sharing data internet data between the browsers.

    Good to know the timeout is 20 min, but perhaps including an adjustment setting will be very useful indeed.

    I'm being timed out within one or two minutes usually, and today I had to re-authenticate twice *while using the portal* -- I wasn't even idle, I was working with updates, went back to the overview screen and boom, re-authenticate.

    Cookies are completely enabled in my browser.

    +2 ridiculous to have to reauthenticate so often, even if it is a powershell only setting, must have a way to adjust...

    On top of that I get various errors when trying to log in often.  500, ... username doesn't exist (when it does)... etc.
