    Hi

    Just wanted to know with the new release of Intune in the new year which will support windows 8 RT can it be deployed without requiring an exchange email account as noticed in a few online demos this is how it is communicating with intune.

    As we have quite a few mobile devices that don't run exchange and instead just use an IMAP email account

    You don't need Exchange for Windows Phone 8, Iphone and Windows RT. For Android and Windows Phone 7.x you still need Exchange.
