Hi gt9500,
As the Schema version is 47, the Active Directory domain is Windows Server 2008 R2. DFS namespace and DFS Replication support to be run this domain and they can work with together.
Please refer to the following guide to use DFS.

Hi gt9500,
Concerning the schema version has been already 47, you may need to in-place upgrade the Active Directory from Windows Server 2003 domain to Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Meanwhile, the DFS namespace server and the DFS Replication server need to be deployed with at least Windows Server 2008 so that the DFS server can have the DFS namespace and DFS Replication service to work.
