I posted this last week in the w2k8 forum (oops) to no avail, hopefully someone here can help?

I have a Dell T610 running 2008 R2 Enterprise. Hyper V installed, 4 VMs running the same OS all have a prob trying to add additional vhds (whether VM is on or off) via the scsi controller in hyper V.

    Event ID:      1
    Task Category: None

    Description:
    Unexpected failure. Error code: 490@01010004

When adding the same VHD via the IDE controller, it works fine. I've tried it with different VHDs and different VMs on the same host machine, same problem. Also tried building a w2k3 R2 VM, added VHDs no problem to the scsi or ide controller.

    All VMs have latest patches/updates.

    Any ideas?
