hyperv guest iso
- Where do I find guest OS for install on 2008 datacenter edition. Mainly Ia m looking for 2008 web and standard editions. Since datacenter edition has unlimited vps licneses I suspect there is a special cdroms needed. When I try to use existing install media I have it requires a key which cannot be used more then once. How does datacetner edition deliver unlimited licenses?
Also is there a control panel for clients to use to manage their VPS like found on virtuozzo?

Hi,
Based on my experience, there isn’t such a web access for Hyper-V Management. However, you may try SCVMM, for more information, it is recommend you to get further support in the corresponding community so that you can get the most qualified pool of respondents. Thanks for your understanding.

For test purposes this is what we already have.

So you are saying that we use the same key over and over again on each VPS? This seems insecure since we will effectivly giving out our license key to each and every customer we have.

No this is not at all what I am talking about. We are trying to host VPS as a service to customers for things like small game servers. Our customers have become accustom to having a control panel so they can upload files, reboot their VPS, see disk and ram stats and other functions. Even reinstall their VPS in case they make a severe mistake and also to manage backups. In virtuozzo this is called the parallels power panel. On openvz/xen this is called hypervm or maybe other 3rd party panels. I am needing something like this that allows the customer to access their individual VPS and only their VPS. These control panels use a http interface that can be accessed with a web browser.
