    Hi, 

    I want to create a secondary partition ReFS for windows server 2012. Kindly help me how we can create a partition with diskpart.

    Hi,

    If you want to create a partition with diskpart, you can perform the following steps:

    1. create partition primary size=1000 /you can adjust the size accordingly, the unit is MB
    2. assign letter=d   /you can assign drive letter to the partition or ignore this step
    3. format quick fs=refs   /format the partition with the format you want

    I am trying to create a REFS partition through WINPE image but its showing error that this is not compatible. So could you please let me know the is it possible to create REFS partion on WINPE?

    Hi,

    WinPE 2.0 was introduced since Windows Vista, ReFS was introduced since Windows Server 2012, you will not be able to create a ReFS parititon in WinPE 2.0, use WinPE for Windows Server 2012 instead.
