Sorry, it may be due to my configuration but on my Cisco switch side
This is what I have one of the port, where I trunk all my VLAN in one.
interface GigabitEthernet0/23
description Hyper-V Trunk A
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,2,3,4,5
switchport mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate
spanning-tree portfast trunk
So I have two have this port and I NIC teamed them using Windows 2012.
Since port is not in used, just plugged in to the server, when I looked at the status, it actually received over 30gb of data, while sent is 0, which is correct.
But can someone explain to me why it is constantly receiving data even tho it is not in use ?
Thanks,

Hi,
As I know, the trunck port on the Swtich is flooding all the traffic through. So I think the data server received are all broadcast packages. for this, I found the article from Cisco website:
Understanding VLAN Trunk Protocol (VTP)
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk389/tk689/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094c52.shtml
And, we think this is not related with the teaming NIC. If you want more help in detail, I suggest you to contact Cisco.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Annie

Okay, I will take that as an answer, as long as not some weird related with teamed NIC.
Thank you Annie.
