问题 Hyper-V Install Failure Server 8

Tried to install the Hyper-V role, and on reboot I got 'hyper-v Object reference not set to an instance of an object'.  At this point, I'm unable to manually create a VM in Hyper-V manager as I get an unexpected logon failure - I'm currently logged in as a Domain Admin.  Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi,

Have you tried to disable and then enable the Hyper-V role again to see whether you can resolve the issue.

    Hi,

Yes, we've tried that.  We've also tried a fresh install of Server 8 and get the same issue.

When you did the fresh install, did you also delete the Computer Object for the Hyper-V server in AD and let the domain join create a fresh CO?

    Hi,

Did you use Windows 8 Consumer Preview or Windows Server “8” Beta?
