I have a brand new server asus rs700-x7/ps4
2 Xeon E-5-2609
32 gig of ram
2 hard drive in miror
when I boot on the installation CD of Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2012
after loading file
there is a small blue windows logo then I have a sad face with the message:"Your PC ran into a problem and need to restart" for half a second and the server restart
and again -again...
Any idea?

That system is not found as a logo-certified system on www.windowsservercatalog.com. ASUS has only a single system certified - the Z9PR.
The results you are seeing are fairly indicative of a need for different BIOS. You can check with ASUS to see if they have plans for supporting your model for Windows Server 2012, or if they have later BIOS that might get you closer.

You put me on the good track!
Actually the Z9PR is the mother board of my server.
The problem is very simple, the server was deliver with the bios version 0601 and the actual version is 3203.
An update and everything go smoothly :-)
As always, update, update, update!
Thanks for your help
