Direct Access Clients

I have setup DA for one of my Win8 clients as a test and it seems to work pretty good.
My question is how do I get it setup so that I can do remote management of the client from my Win7 workstation. I think I have the GP setup correctly, but nothing can see the client except the DA server.
The client can access everything on the internal network just like as if it was directly connected.
