Windows Server 2012 Essentials Not Completing Installation (Hardware does not meet the minimum requirements)

I have been attempting to complete an installation of Server 2012 Essentials and keep getting the following error; "Your hardware does not meet the minimum requirement for Windows Server 2012 Essentials".
-I am installing Server 2012 on vmware workstation 9 and have provisioned a "90GB" S SCSI drive for the installation.
-I get through the initial installation but then run into "SetupMon.exe" once I log on as the Administrator user.
-The installation goes through a check and then spues out the aforementioned error and requires a restart. Please see attached..
Windows Server 2012 doesn't recognize that there is a big enough drive and I CANNOT find anything on TechNet that is helpful for this issue. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

Per Microsoft you need a 160GB drive with a 60GB partition.
