Hello;
I have windows server 2012 installed on it VMware 9, I'm having an issue, its that I cant give the VMs static IP to add them to the network, as a matter of fact when I let the DHCP handle it, the VM works fine but I cant access it through Remote desktop.I think the DNS is not seeing the VM correctly whether DHCP or I manually give it an IP.
I tried changing the VM Network adapter settings to bridged but it didn't work so I had to put it to NAT so it will work.
Any help please.

You might want to ask in a VMware forum for questions about VMware networking.
Please provide some information about your configuration. Provide the output of ipconfig /all when the VM is working with DHCP and when it is not working with a static configuration.
You can't access through remote desktop. Have you enable remote access to the VM?
