Adds a zero to my domain name

Hi
I am setting up a test environment for windows2012. My domain name is testenv, but when I try to log on to the first machine that is a member of my domain is says testenv0 at the loginscreen.... (When a I look at the system name it is testenv)

How about change the client computer name to another not like the domain name?
Do you mean that your domain name is a single-label name? I would like suggest you set your domain name as testenv.com.
And when you logon to domain, use below type:
testenv\account name
