    Hi

I have created a domain controller and 2 server machines which are part of this domain in VMWare, the domain controller has 2 network cards one NAT which enables it to connect to the internet and one host only to communicate with other machines in the network, and clients machines which are part of this domain have just one nic with their DNS and default Gateway set to the domain controllers static IP, what I want to do is to confiugre internet for the clients via domain controller.

Can this be done with the above setup ? I am using Windows Server 2012 DataCenter.

    Thanks

    T

The simplest way is to use the NAT address subnet for all machines.  Otherwise you need to set up routing software on the DC.  Is there some reason you do not want to use a common subnet?  Since you already have your DC on the NAT, I can't see that you are exposing anything more critical to the internet as you already have your most important resource connected to the internet.

    Hi Tim

Thanks for your reply, I have set it up for SQL Server clustering and with multiple subnets it gets complicated, I did not plan for internet access during the setup and now its all done, thats why I am looking for alternate ways.

If you can give me some more details on how I can do that with a routing software that will be great.

    Thanks

I am assuming your domain controller is 2012.  One of the roles you can install is Remote Access.  That provide NAT and other remote access capabilities.
