Installation of sql r2 2008

  Hi!

  Im installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup but at the middle of installment there is dialog box says
  

  " The following error has occurred:

  Wait on the Database engine recovery handle failed. Check the SQL Sever error log for potencial causes."

  My question is. What does it means? and what should i do to finish my installation.

  Please help. thank you very much!
