Answered Cannot add roles/features Windows Server 2012

    0x80004005 is the error code I keep getting when I try to add roles to Server 2012. I booted to audit mode and it would not get out of that mode so I did a re-install and I have not been able to install anything since then. Any help would be great. Also I cannot install a number of IIS related things using the web platform installer and windows update keeps giving me Code 80073712. I do not know if all three issues are related or not but I suspect that they are.

    look in dism.log in C:\Windows\Logs\DISM for more information.

    In addition, please also enable Remote Registry Service to check the result.
