I have a MS W2008 File Server Cluster as the source and a separate W2008 File Server Cluster as the DR target
EVA6100 to p6500 Asynchronous replication
CA EVA Failover – no problem
How do you set it up so that users can continue to connect to the share \\ClusterVM_Name\ShareName (granted they may need to refresh / reconnect)
Scenario1 – Use the same IP and Name for the DR instance
Issue: The Cluster won’t allow me to create another “server” VM with the same name and IP
Scenari02 – Use an Alias to switch the pointer to the other cluster
Issue: The pointer doesn’t bring up the share
