Installation of MS SQL Server 2008 on clustered Windows Server 2008 R2

Dear All,
I have successfully created 2 node windows server 2008 R2 cluster.
The next step is to install MS SQL Server 2008 on this clustered servers.I need to know an special process to consider or the best installation option that will give high availability.
Do I have to do SQL Server 2008 clustering?

Consider log mirroring as it could be much faster compared to generic failover cluster.

Can you please give more details on this; what are the advantages abd also step-by-step guide in implementing the log mirroring.
