Cluster errors in Win2008 Fail over clusterHi,

I have 4 VM's installed on a cluster environment with two nodes.

Often i see that the VM's fail over to node2 with this errors in the 'critical events for nodes'.

event id 1127 - Cluster network interface 'HVNode1 - Local Area Connection' for cluster node 'HVNode1' on network 'Cluster Network 2' failed. Run the Validate a Configuration wizard to check your network configuration. If the condition persists, check for hardware or software errors related to the network adapter. Also check for failures in any other network components to which the node is connected such as hubs, switches, or bridges.

event id 1135 - Cluster node 'HVNode1' was removed from the active failover cluster membership. The Cluster service on this node may have stopped. This could also be due to the node having lost communication with other active nodes in the failover cluster. Run the Validate a Configuration wizard to check your network configuration. If the condition persists, check for hardware or software errors related to the network adapters on this node. Also check for failures in any other network components to which the node is connected such as hubs, switches, or bridges.

where as for cluster events

1069 - luster resource 'Virtual Machine HSILWebmail' in clustered service or application 'Virtual Machines' failed.

is displayed.

But when i move them again to node1 they work properly. Can you tell me where i can get the detail log in case of failover.

I have tried the 'cluster log /g' at command prompt but that is not detail.

Thanks
Pradeep

© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
