windows server 2008 Windows 7 pro

Friday, January 25, 2013 10:25 PMis it possible to connect a widows 7 pro computer to my win 2008 server at my office from home or do i need special software to do so. Sorry let me elaborate the windows 7 unit is a lap top and is connected to my domain at work. My real question sould be" can I access my files on my server while at home ?

Yes, You can. To accomplish this, you have to contact your domain administrator. They will configure VPN access on your laptop through which you can connect to server 2008. Check the following links which disccussed similer queries.
