Friday, March 23, 2012 8:00 PMHi ,
I have a domain controller in my small organization and having 100 clients. i have a one file server having more than 10 folders all are mapped on user's profile as a network drive.
I want to hide all local drive from each computer and user can see only network drive. so that user can save all the data only on network drive .
could any one help how can i do through group policy.

Hello Triyambak,
It is possible to hide drives with GPO:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/231289/en-us
(see here, even it is an old article)http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc975948.aspx
Anyway, this does not prevent the user from accessing the local drives.
The user can still use command prompt or explorer dialogs for accessing the local drives.
