    Hi,

I've set up folder redirection using a GPO on a Windows 2008 Server (DC of the domain). It works fine on my XP client (because it says "synchronizing the files" on logoff). However, it seems to have no effect on the server itself. There is no error in the event log. Any idea to troubleshoot?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

To better understand this problem, please help to collect the following information for research.

    1.    Try to run "gpupdate /force" and log off/log on user to test. If the issue persists:
    2.    Run "gpresult /h c:\gp.html", please use Windows Live SkyDrive (http://www.skydrive.live.com/) to upload the file and then give me the download address.
    3.    Could other settings in the same GPO apply to this DC?

    Thanks.
