    Hi Gajanan,

    Thanks for the posting.

    I understand that we need to add URL shortcut to Domain User desktop through GPO.
     
    We can use GPP to realize this. I suggest we check the article below to get detail information.

    To use GPP feature, we must have Windows Server 2008 or above DC/member server in the domain. Or if there is Windows 7 client in the domain, we can install RSAT on it to use GPP.

    In the meantime, we need to install GPP CSE if there is Windows XP client in the domain so that GPP can apply.

    Hi all,

    To

    add url shortcut on desktop on all domain users & change the icon throw group policy in windows 2003 domain environment I used following script,

    I added this script in user logon  script & save icon path in domain share.
