Hello,
on many windows servers i have the following message when i try to create/delete/copy a file to c:\
I have tried to fix this by changing the UAC to lowest level AND changing the EnableLUA-registry-key.
I am trying to find a GPO-solution for all my servers and future machines.
What can be done with Group Policy to eliminate the message?
Thx

If you want to get rid of that message, there's 2 solutions:a) Adjust NTFS Acls, so that a given Group gets write access.b) Disable UAC (not recommended though...)

Hello Martin,
A) Can this be done by GPO for all servers
B) What is the best way to do this by GPO?
Thx

> A) Can this be done by GPO for all servers>Yes, but it is tricky because of NTFS inheritance... I would recommendasking yourself "why do I need to copy files to the system drive rootfolder?" ;-)> B) What is the best way to do this by GPO?>Computer configuration - Windows settings - Security settings - Filesystem. But if you do wrong, you will destroy your servers...
