    Does anyone know where I can go and download administrative templates (admx) for Windows 8 or 2012?

    Hi,

    As far as I know, there is no separate Administrative Templates file could be downloaded at present. If we want to configure new Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 Group Policy setting, we could use Windows Server 2012 DC.

    Regarding the new Group Policy Settings Reference for Windows and Windows Server, we could refer to the following article.

    If you have installation media: Install the WAIK, run "dism /mount-wim"
    to mount the \sources\install.wim from installation media and grab
    \windows\policydefinitions from the mounted wim.

    Hi,

    As Martin mentioned, we could also get the ADMX files in the following local location C:\windows\policydefinitions\ of Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. Thanks.
