    Hello;

Run Windows Update, and see if there are any missing updates?

What was the outcome of this?

Or, did you decide to wait for the 1st? ;)

    Thank you ,Karl
    I found the package,details on :
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/931836

Now I have a new issue need your help.

I set up my win2003 server as a NTP server
    With regedit set w32time parameters:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters\Type     "NTP"

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config\AnnounceFlags  "5" (decimal)

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpServer\Enable   1

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters\NtpServer    "IP,0x1"

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config\LocalClockDispersion "0"

Then I restart w32time service and sync my debian system to this win2003 server.
    It is successfully.
Then, I changed win2003 server time back 2 min. leave my debian running, after 2 days, time does not synched.
    The offset is increasing...

If you need more info, i will update for you.

    Best wishes
    hermit

DO I have the valid step?
After sync succesful, I should not changed the ntp server 'time manually?

What's more, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816042 this artical says the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config\AnnounceFlags  "5" (decimal)
I use 5, but i can not see my win2003 use external time source....
What happens with the AnnounceFlags setting?

Thank you very much, for  my poor word...
Thanks a lot for your time,^.^~
