We have Win2k3 Sp2 Server and some Win7 Pro clients.  When running "Server Management -> Shares (local) -> View Connected Users", users who are currently logged-in will be listed in the right pane but I noticed that the computer name column does not display the actual computer name of the logged-in users.

Here is just an example to illustrate better what I meant:

user1 logs in using a workstation which computer name is PC1
user2 logs in using a workstation which computer name ic PC2
user3 logs in using a workstation which computer name is PC3

When viewing "Connected Users" under Shares in Computer Management it may show:

    User..........Computer Name

    user1.........PC2
    user2.........PC3
    user3.........PC1

Could this be the cause of the users are being kicked out by the server intermittently and unable to access server's resources and they have to restart their workstation to be able to gain access the server again?  Please help.

I'd start with a more simple approach of ping by name / by address. Check event logs both client and server side and note any error message users might receive.
