Adprep

Please assist, I have a domain with 3 DC servers running win server 2003 , and I want to add another DC but now with Win server 2008.
I know I have to run Adprep , My question is, do I run it on a single server or I have to run it on all the servers running Win Server 2003.

Hi,
You need to run adprep /forestprep for once for the entire forest, run adprep /domainprep for once in each domain where you plan to install an additional domain controller that runs a later version of Windows Server than the latest version that is running in the domain, run adprep /domainprep /gpprep for once in each domain within the forest and run adprep /rodcprep for once for the entire forest.
