    hi 

        Recently i shifted to win server 2008 r2 for my sap practise . when i connected my lan cable and trying to access internet means nothing is comming . as iam new to server os i dont know  what to do , any one please solve my problem .

    Hi chiyanda,

    Thanks for posting here.

    How does these server obtain address and other network settings ? via DHCP or statically assigned ?
    Can we reach our internet gateway form this server ?
    Can we compare the settings (IP, mask, default gateway and DNS …etc)with other host’s where in same network without such issue ?
