As has been discussed in other threads, in the current Server 2008 implementation of TS Gateway - clients cannot be Auto remediated. Thus diagnosing which part of a Health Validation check they failed on is quite a manual task. I know there was talk of 2008 R2 making a change to the newly named RD Gateway to support some form or remediation / logging for NAP enforced clients.
I was just wondering if this has actually been implemented or not?
Yes, Windows Server 2008 R2 can do auto remediation. For this you need RDC 7.0 client on the client machine, which is default on Windows 7. RDC 7.0 will be released soon for pre-Win7 operating systems.
