Hi,
I would like to verify with Microsoft TechNet team whether the following URL http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd183602(WS.10).aspx also applies to windows 7? I do not see why Windows 7 not in the list of the supporting client for DHCP.
Please advise,
Thanks and best regards

Yes, most definitely. I dont see a date on the article, but I assume that it is pre-Win 7. I see no other reason why Windows 7 or later is not listed.- Proposed As Answer by Aiden_CaoMicrosoft Contingent Staff, Moderator Monday, December 17, 2012 6:30 AM

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
The article you reference was published in September, 2008 which Windows 7 Edition wasn’t launch. For DHCP in latest Windows Edition, you may refer to the following article.
