Answered what is DMZ section in ADSL modems

    hi friends

    in ADSL modems , there is a section called DMZ.  what is that ?  is that exactlly the demiliterized zone which exists in firewall concepts ?

    does this DMS relate to port publishing ?

    Hi John,

    Thanks for posting here.

    I assume this is a SOHO router,sSo it is basically a NAT device which will be used for sharing internet for internal clients . Am I right .

    DMZ usually mean a client that will directly exposed to the internal and can access without port mapping or other configuration we usually configured to publish an internal host to internet through this NAT device .
