Setup NPS 6.1 on cisco WCS 6.0
-
Monday, November 19, 2012 10:19 PMHello,
I'm trying to configue an Authentication server in WCS. I have a Network
Policy Server on a windows 2008 R2 server. I pretty much followed the
instructions on this link:[removed]
But when I create the WLAN in WCS that uses that AAA server, the clients
just won't connect...Can someone point me where to find the logs for NPS?
I activated the 'accounting to SQL' but nothing comes up.
this is what I see on the WCS reports
Client '00:27:10:d7:0e:c8 (0.0.0.0)' which was associated with interface
'802.11b/g' of AP 'DO_PLC2' is excluded. The reason code is '2(802.11
Association failed repeatedly)Thanks

Hi,
Have you check the event viewer in Windows Server 2008? Verify is there any related event log generated. Beside application and system event logs, some other detailed NPS event logs will logged under Event Viewer\Custom Views\Server Roles\Network Policy and Access Services
Best Regards,
Aiden
